Scared of the Geodatabase?
Geodatabases have been around for quite some time but a good number of folks I talk to in Vermont are still managing their GIS data in legacy formats (shapefiles/coverages). The presentation below is a recap of my talk at the VSDP January 2009 roundtable in which I provide a gentle introduction to geodatabases for those individuals who are considering migrating their data to a geodatabase, but have been a bit scared off by all this talk of mulituser editing, replication and what not. In the presentation I discuss feature datasets, topologies, and domains.

4-band NAIP
Displaying 4-band imagery in ArcGIS can be confusing at first. The video below is a quick recap of the presentation I gave on displaying Vermont's 4-band NAIP in ArcGIS at the January 2009 VSDP roundtable.
