The State of Vermont as issued a request for proposals (RFP) for Vermont Statewide Orthophoto Acquisition Services. Previous orthophotos acquired by the state were panchromatic and acquired by a film-based system (see below). It will be nice to have true digital, multispectral imagery.

Clipping Raster Data in ERDAS IMAGINE
Clipping a raster dataset using a polygon layer in ERDAS IMAGINE is not rocket science, but knowing the work flow certainly makes things easier if you have never done it before.

- Load your raster dataset into the viewer
- Load your polygon layer
- Select the polygon layer and then click on Copy followed by Paste to create an AOI layer
- Select the AOI layer and run the subset tool with the AOI > Viewer option enabled.
